TIME FOR

NEW TRADITIONS

Marmetube – the fruit spread that comes in a tube

Did you know fruit spread now comes in a tube? And that's not all. Our spreads contain less sugar than jam and have an impressive 66 percent fruit content. And what they don’t contain is just as important – Marmetube spreads are free from colourants, concentrates and syrup.

And the aluminium tube? Aluminium is widely recyclable. Recycling it takes just 5 percent of the energy required for producing it from scratch. And from now on our tubes are made from recycled aluminium.

Have we piqued your taste buds? Then try Marmetube spreads in seven fantastically fruity flavours – strawberry, sour cherry, raspberry, apricot, peach, blackberry and strawberry-rhubarb.

Seven great flavours

Strawberry – king of the berries

For breakfast, teatime or just for fun – no one can resist a strawberry. We use the senga sengana variety for its intense red colour and full flavour.

Raspberry – the vitamin bomb

Raspberries have long been prized for their healing properties. And no wonder – they're rich in vitamin C, potassium and fruit acids.

Apricots – the start of spring

These little velvety bursts of sunshine start appearing from the end of March.

Sour Cherry – big on flavours

Cherries are thought to aid your immune system. And everyone loves their taste.

Peach - the healthy juice ball

Peaches contain a lot of vitamins and minerals that increase health and well-being.

Blackberry – the blue enjoyment

With its prickly tendrils, the blackberry grows on many forest- and path edges.

Strawberry-Rhubarb – the red dream

Fruit and vegetables can only be a harmonious mixture.

How it all began

We've already seen honey in squeezable bottles. So why not fruit spreads in a tube? No more messy, unappetising jars. Breakfast will never be the same again. It all began when three friends – Daniel, Dennis and Max – went into the kitchen to make a fruit spread that actually tasted of fruit, not sugar. What they came up with was not just a delicious spread – but a delicious spread in a practical, no-mess tube. Marmetube spreads come in seven different fruity flavours – strawberry, cherry, raspberry, apricot, peach, blackberry and strawberry-rhubarb – with 66 percent fruit content.

Our vision

As an innovative and ambitious start-up, we aim to use resources responsibly and sustainably. Our vision? To make breakfast better and revolutionise the spreads market.

Launched in mid-2018, our spreads have a high (66%) fruit content – so what you taste is not sugar, but fruit. But it's not just about the flavour. It's about sustainable and innovative packaging. It's about questioning every step of the process and establishing ways of doing things. It's about staying true to our values as we continue to grow. Values such as using resources responsibly, and treating our staff, suppliers and customers with respect.

The conscious use of natural resources

Why aluminium tubes? Because they're recyclable, and help reduce food waste.

Aluminium is widely recyclable, and the recycling process takes just 5% of the energy required to produce it from scratch. And recycling works – around 75% of the aluminium produced over the past hundred years or so is still in circulation. In comparison to other packaging materials, its low weight results in less greenhouse gas emissions from road transportation.

Aluminium is one of the best recycling materials available. Food in aluminium tubes keeps longer than in other containers, which helps reduce waste. And in Germany, up to 86% of aluminium is re-used – more than any other material. Our spreads are made in Germany from European fruit. They therefore clock up fewer transport miles, and so help to cut emissions.

Premium quality thanks to high fruit content

Like all food products, our fruit spreads are subject to strict food safety standards. But our own desire for quality is what really drives us. We are absolutely committed to the highest possible standards. That's why our spreads have 66% fruit and a lower sugar content than regular jam.

We want to give not just Germany but the whole world the chance to try our spreads. And why not? Wherever you are – at home, at work, on the go, or at a picnic – Marmetube jam can be enjoyed indoors and out.
